As a community football club committed to playing our part in the growth and development of our young players, Turramurra United FC is delighted to announce the trial dates for the selection of our U8 development program teams, one of which will play in the NSFA SAP League, for 2022. The SAP League is a mixed (boys and girls play together) development league for U8-U11 players with the goal to improve development opportunities for players and coaches within local football clubs, while also underpinning the Northern Tigers SAP and the NSFA Super League and Diamond League competitions. TUFC successfully entered U8-U11 teams in the SAP League in the past 2 years.
We will be selecting a SAP team and a development team in the U8 age group for 2022. Both the SAP team and the development team will receive 2 nights a week XLR8 coaching for at least 22 weeks in the 2022 football season (including the pre-season) and match-day coaching. We will be integrating the training of these two teams as much as possible.
Turramurra United Football Club SAP League and development teams will receive:
- A training and match day coach
- At least 22 weeks of 2 nights a week training.
- At least 15 weeks of matches plus gala days (+ pre-season trial games)
- A training shirt
- A TUFC jacket
The total fee for the TUFC development program teams is yet to be finalised, but is likely to be around $850 for the season (including a deposit of $250).
The TUFC U8 SAP and development teams will be selected after the trials (see below for dates and times), based on performance in the trials.

What if my child doesn’t make or doesn’t want to try out for a SAP or development program team?
Community football is a major focus at TUFC and we will continue to run as many teams as we can to serve players in the U8 age group, especially for those who just want to play with their friends.
I would like my child to try out for the Turramurra United SAP and development program teams, when are the trials and how do I register?
Please register via the following link and mark your calendars for the following dates. We will stay in touch to keep you updated with reminders as we get closer to the trial dates.
REGISTER TODAY – there is no fee to register. When the teams are selected, a deposit will be required to accept a place in the development program.
