Vision and Values

Our Vision

Large enough to succeed. Small enough to care.

Large enough to succeed

Success is not just about the size of a club and the number of trophies a club wins.

Success is about ensuring all our members achieve what they are looking for from playing ‘the beautiful game’ and as a club we look to provide the support, enthusiasm, facilities and training to enable them to achieve this.

It means having a financially sustainable club with the right number of players so that we can offer the local community at least one team in every age group and at every level of playing standard so that they can join the level and age group they want to.

We are able to provide one of the most comprehensive and successful coaching programs available so that players are encouraged to realise their true potential and that we can compete against other clubs both on the pitch and off.

Small enough to care

We are committed to achieving and then maintaining the club player base at the level to fulfil our promise of having at least 2 teams in every age group.

We are committed to staying a local community-based club with strong links to the local community, our players, parents and schools.

Our club is run and maintained by parents and players of the club and we care about every single player in our club and are determined to ensure they get then most out of being a member of TUFC by providing the environment for every player to express their love of the game in a supportive team and club environment.

The success of TUFC will be measured by player retention, as that is a true reflection that our members are enjoying their football at the club.

Our Values

Supporting our local community

Creating the opportunity for ALL children and adults to play football within their local community and for them to be able to introduce their friends and family.

Respect of self and others

Ensuring all club members respect referees, opposing teams and their supporters, their fellow team players and themselves.

Team orientated on and off the field

Recognising it’s a team game where no one is more important than the team and the club.

Playing for the love of the game

Playing football that is more than just about winning but about having fun and playing within the spirit of the game.
