TURRAMURRA UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB INCORPORATED (TUFC) NOTICE TO TUFC MEMBERS OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND SPECIAL RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE TUFC CONSTITUTION

The Committee of TUFC has undertaken a review of the club’s Constitution (TUFC Constitution) and proposes a few amendments to ensure that the TUFC Constitution remains effective, current and appropriate for the ongoing operation and governance of TUFC.

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to s.39 of the Associations Incorporation Act 2009, that at the upcoming Annual General Meeting of TUFC to be held on the 26th November 2026 at Club Turramurra, North Turramurra, the following motion will be proposed as a special resolution.

THAT the current Constitution of the Turramurra United Football Club Incorporated (TUFC) be repealed, and that the proposed new TUFC Constitution accompanying this notice of the Annual General Meeting of the members of TUFC, be adopted as the TUFC Constitution.

Summary of the proposed amendments to the TUFC Constitution as follows...

• Minor change to rule 2 ‘Objects’ to include the word “football” and update the name of ‘Football Australia’.
• Clarify in rules 7, 12, 13 and 14 some issues about the annual Membership fee of $1 and clearly set out that the liability of any member is limited to the unpaid (and un-waived) amount of the annual Membership fee.
• Clearly setting out in rules 24 and 26 that, as allowed by the Associations Incorporation Act 2009, TUFC Committee meetings can be held by means of videoconferencing.
• Updating the provisions in rule 39 about payments made from the TUFC bank account to be able to be authorised by TUFC Committee members via online banking access.
• To enable the club to continue to be taxed as a non-profit, insertion of rule 45 prohibiting the distribution of TUFC assets to members but clarifying that this does not prohibit payment for services rendered or reimbursement of legitimate expenses related to club operations. ... Turramurra United Football Club is now accepting registrations from players outside the club who wish to trial for our 2027 Junior Development

League (JDL) Program.

Our JDL Program provides a structured development environment focused on technical improvement, game understanding, personal growth and a genuine love of the game.

For example:
